Super Duper Music Looper Session

Just posting this in case someone can’t access it in their email.

Mrs. Tobiczyk’s second grade class at Highland Elementary just finished creating their own ABA songs. This is our first experience creating music in the classroom. First let me explain a little about ABA form also referred to as Ternary or Sonata form. In our songs you will hear two distinct sections, the A section begins the song and then returns at the end of the song. The B section is a new section of the song that sits between the A sections. Sometime the students chose to play different instruments for the A and B sections. Other times you will hear different rhythms, melodies, or words identifying each section. Let’s listen!
